Five selected sheets combine illustration, the title page and verse. Seven partial reconstructed typefaces cover roman, italic, blackletter, chapter headings and title lettering. Heading widths and caption sizes follow the source composition.

A small terminal paragraph mark on source sheet 161 uses the reconstructed blackletter glyph. AI-assisted artwork reconstruction interprets hatching, faces and monograms; title calligraphy and spacing also retain interpreted details. The partial fonts and typesetting are reconstructions, not exact reproductions of every printed stroke.

Many voices, one illustrated book.

Seven partial typefaces separate the prose, verse, chapter headings and varied title lettering. Roman, italic, blackletter, chapter serif, title serif, title calligraphy and the small blackletter title each have their own reconstructed outlines.

These sets contain the characters found on the supplied pages, rather than complete alphabets. Calligraphic joins and swashes include interpreted details; spacing and a small number of kerning pairs support the selected text. The source words shown here were used during reconstruction; they are not independent accuracy tests. Specimens are proportionally sized for display, without stretching a word to match the source width.

These are experimental typefaces. A printed proof has not been reviewed. A distribution license has not been specified, so no standalone font download or CC0 release is offered. Explore the restoration methods →

What was checked

The source project checked the PDF export against canonical text, page bounds, source crops and final compositions. No independent second editorial proofread was performed; reconstructed detail is interpretive, not a facsimile.
