The Russian original is Конёк-Горбунок. The selection keeps its pre-reform spelling, verse structure and separate book graphics. Verse placement and the three-star dividers on source sheets 11, 13 and 65 follow the source composition. The source spelling «стремян-ной» on sheet 65 is retained.
The comparisons for source sheets 5 and 126 show the actual reference photographs used, rather than unrelated binary scan pages. The source of each side is labelled. AI-assisted illustration reconstruction interprets fine detail.

The historical edition
Reference photographs · Litfund auction 394, lot 103 · 1902 edition. Pyotr Yershov · illustrations by Elena Samokish-Sudkovskaya · 19th edition, 1902. Reference photographs were used for source sheets 5 and 126 and are identified beside those comparisons. The remaining sheets use the supplied ImWerden PDF reproduction (EBook 2007). No open license for the photographs has been established here, and this package is not offered under CC0.
What was checked
The source project checked the PDF export against canonical text, page bounds, source crops and final compositions. No independent second editorial proofread was performed; reconstructed detail is interpretive, not a facsimile.
Using these materials
