A title, illustrated verse and five colour plates, with verse blocks and image captions laid out anew.
Dora Owen edited this anthology and Warwick Goble illustrated it.
Seven selected source sheets bring together the title, an illustrated continuation of The Lupracaun, or Fairy Shoemaker and five colour plates. Verse blocks, captions and illustrations are centred without retaining the scan’s margin offsets. Stanza indents and image proportions remain. AI-assisted artwork reconstruction interprets fine detail, faces and colour.
Title and imprint widths, stanza spacing and caption placement follow the source composition. All five plate captions were checked in the source project.

Supplied scan · The Book of Fairy Poetry, edited by Dora Owen. Dora Owen, editor · Warwick Goble, illustrator · Longmans, Green and Co., 1920. This anthology includes writing by multiple authors; the age of the volume and Goble’s illustrations does not establish public-domain status for every passage. The selected caption on source sheet 223 comes from J. R. R. Tolkien’s Goblin Feet; only that plate caption, not the complete poem, appears in this selection. No blanket public-domain or CC0 permission is offered.
The source project checked the PDF export against canonical text, page bounds, source crops and final compositions. No independent second editorial proofread was performed; reconstructed detail is interpretive, not a facsimile.
PDF samples and font demonstrations are provided for inspection, without a reuse license. Any separately released CC0 SVG package is labelled beside its download. Contact us about other uses.
